ClearVoice Admin Assignment Details

The Admin platform is used for ClearVoice employees to manage freelancers and client production within the public platform. In this project we gave more informative features in the assignment details pages that will allow our team to keep track of activity and finances.

The start of the "New Admin"

Upon joining ClearVoice, I observed that much of the platform had been developed solely by engineers. In this particular project, we initiated a cleanup of the Admin platform, utilized by our internal team, rebranding it as the "New Admin." Currently, the platform partially displays assignment details, with some information scattered across various locations. My responsibility involves consolidating all relevant information into a single location and implementing editing functionalities for enhanced efficiency.

Giving full access to the project details

Within the previous admin setup, the team possessed the capability to edit due dates and project contributors. However, what was lacking was access to comprehensive project details, crucial for making necessary adjustments. In the "details" tab, users will encounter distinct sections of the assignment presented, offering the option to expand them whenever required.

Tracking assignment activity

During assignment management, our internal team encountered challenges in monitoring production progress among the assigned team members, leading to difficulties in meeting deadlines and accurately tracking word count and time to stay within budget constraints. Given our focus on financial aspects, we introduced an activity tracker to ensure the team receives notifications about changes throughout the process, enhancing overall coordination.

Adding payouts to assignments

The primary driver behind undertaking this project was the significant issue at hand. Presently, the platform lacks a financial tracking system, resulting in financial losses for ClearVoice due to missed payments. With the introduction of this new tab, our team gains the ability to seamlessly monitor payments through an automated system linked to hired freelancers. This system is driven by project activity and word count tracking, enabling the finance team to assess budget adherence. Ultimately, this ensures timely payments both from clients and to freelancers.
